Burger Battle Goes Retro with These Classic Spin Offs
Every Thursday, the Village Tavern offers and expanded menu of featured burgers. The burgers change every week, as they are a part of our weekly Burger Battle–a friendly competition among our chefs to see who can claim bragging rights for creating the tastiest burger. There seems to be no limit to the creativity of our chefs. Check out the classic sandwich spin offs they have planned for tonight’s Burger Battle. Then come on in for dinner and cast your vote. At the end of the evening, the burger that sells the most earns the title of Best Burger and the chef who created it gets to skip clean-up for the evening. May the best burger win!
The Classic Monte Cristo Burger
Grilled turkey burger sandwiched between cinnamon French toast with grilled ham, swiss cheese and maple syrup for dipping, served with a side of sweet potato fries.
The Classic Reuben Burger
Grilled beef burger, topped with thinly sliced homemade corned beef, Swiss cheese, slathered with 1000 Island dressing, and served on top of toasted rye bread.
The Classic Italian Hoagie Burger
Grilled beef burger, acccompanied by Genoa salami, pepperoni, prosciutto, bibb lettuce, sliced ripe tomato, then drizzled with basil oil & vinegar, and served on a Liscio’s long roll.

Double 8 oz. grilled beef burgers, 4 slices of thick-cut smoked bacon, Vermont cheddar and American cheeses, fried onions, homemade campfire and BBQ sauces, served open faced in a skillet!!!
Most Burger Battle selections may be switched out to our turkey burger, grilled chicken breast, or garden burger. All featured burgers are served with home fried chips (unless otherwise specified) for just $12.00
